A lifelong resident of Bethesda and Chevy Chase, Lynda O’Dea* is an accomplished marketing executive, interior designer and home renovation expert. Prior to her real estate career, she was VP of Marketing and Business Development for a technology company and creator of an online business that won a national award for the top 20 best retail websites in the country. Earlier in her career while VP of Marketing for the Maryland Jockey Club, she developed new technologies that were adopted nationwide, managed the Preakness Stakes race and events, and created the hospitality venue Preakness Village. She also conceived and designed the Sports Palaces at Laurel and Pimlico which were credited with revolutionizing the racing industry, developed new technologies for the racing consumer, and designed over $10 million in interior design projects. Lynda went on to develop what became the ESPN Zone in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor and worked with ABC Sports, the NHL and NFL on sports entertainment projects.
